CNC MACHINIST - TOOL & CUTTER GRINDERS


CNC Machinist – Tool & Cutter Grinders

Location: Gorham, ME


POSITION OVERVIEW:

Harvey Performance Company is looking for experienced CNC Machinists – Tool & Cutter Grinders to join our team. Positions open on all shifts! Our CNC Machinists work in a fast paced environment, running production lots, setting up new jobs, and developing new tools to customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load programs, setup CNC equipment, complete 1st piece inspections, and run production loads
  • Use measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators
  • Interpret blue prints and specification sheets
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Monitor and maintain quality throughout production runs
  • Quickly identify and correct any tool imperfection and identify grinding wheel wear and make needed corrections

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 3 – 5 years as a CNC operator is preferred, but candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply. We will train qualified candidates.
  • A two year degree or certification in Manufacturing Technology or similar area of study is preferred.

COATING CELL OPERATOR


Coating Cell Operator

Location: Gorham, MA


POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under direct supervision, the Coating Cell Operator prepares end mills for the coating process, loads and unloads end mills into coating vessel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading and unloading coating satellites
  • Loading and unloading the coating machine (requires 50 pound lift)
  • Operation of coating machine
  • Operation of the washing machine
  • Working to shop documents to ensure quality products
  • Keeping the work area neat, clean and organized

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER


Manufacturing Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under indirect supervision, the Manufacturing Engineer will create, monitor and make revisions to Engineering processes and documents.  In addition, the Manufacturing  Engineer will focus on continuous manufacturing improvement and cost reduction initiatives in order to improve efficiencies in the manufacturing, including but not limited to: Operations and Shop Flow; Quality Control and RTM; and New Equipment research, recommendation & qualification criteria.  He/She will also be responsible for manufacturing of special tools within the specials cell as well as training “A” level operators.

The Marketing Coordinator is an essential ingredient to Harvey Performance Company’s Marketing team. This entry level role will assist in the implementation of all marketing activities in an effort to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and generate new business leads.

In support of these goals, this multi-faceted role will incorporate many responsibilities, including maintaining brand websites, proofing and writing marketing content, assisting with direct mail initiatives, and contributing to social media efforts.

The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with the team and across departments on a variety of projects and campaigns that increase our market exposure. This position is the perfect fit for an entry level candidate with a passion for marketing and a drive to continually expand their skill set with a dynamic, rapidly growing company. PAYROLL & BENEFITS REPRESENTATIVE/ADMINISTRATOR


Payroll & Benefits Representative/Administrator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on and detailed-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our fast-paced, growing organization.

The Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll and the benefits administration process.  He/she will serve as the subject matter expert of the system, owning all HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data.  The Administrator will be responsible for producing reports – both standard and ad hoc.

This position must have a customer-focused outlook and superb customer service skills.  He/she should enjoy engaging with and helping employees at all levels of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the preparation, and accurate processing of payroll.  Includes entering all new hires into the system, employee data changes, status changes, and terminations.  Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks.
  • Owns all aspects of timecard administration including new employee set up and security group assignments, ensuring supervisor approvals, employee access, etc.  May conduct employee/manager new user training.
  • Administration of Health and Welfare benefits plans: ensuring new employees are properly enrolled in benefits, processing benefits terminations, and auditing invoices for accuracy.  May assist with new hire orientations and supports the annual open enrollment process.
  • Assists employees with benefit claim issues and plan changes. Suggests and develops communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package.
  • Uses resources and contacts to stay informed of state and federal regulations and laws changes.  Reports up relevant information and supports implementation compliant processes/programs to mitigate risk to company.
  • Administers leave programs and keeps track of balances, including PTO, FMLA, Paid/unpaid LOA, etc. Processes and administers all leave of absence requests and disability paperwork.
  • Serve as owner of the HRIS. Prepare reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the HR department and prepare ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate processing and updating of quarterly payroll taxes, unemployment contributions, ACA reporting requirements, and other required filings.
  • Completes all employment and wage verifications.
  • Assists with recruiting process: scheduling candidates, background check process, etc.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Additional projects and duties as required to support a growing business.

The role is a hands-on Sr. Database Applications Developer who will work with the Director of Information Technology to ensure we provide effective support to our users across all applications and platforms. The Sr. Database Applications Developer will guide support efforts in terms of not only meeting or exceeding service levels and expected completion date metrics but also meeting or exceeding user quality of service expectations.
