CNC Machinist – Tool & Cutter Grinders

Location: Gorham, ME


POSITION OVERVIEW:

Harvey Performance Company is looking for experienced CNC Machinists – Tool & Cutter Grinders to join our team. Positions open on all shifts! Our CNC Machinists work in a fast paced environment, running production lots, setting up new jobs, and developing new tools to customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load programs, setup CNC equipment, complete 1st piece inspections, and run production loads
  • Use measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators
  • Interpret blue prints and specification sheets
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Monitor and maintain quality throughout production runs
  • Quickly identify and correct any tool imperfection and identify grinding wheel wear and make needed corrections

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 3 – 5 years as a CNC operator is preferred, but candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply. We will train qualified candidates.
  • A two year degree or certification in Manufacturing Technology or similar area of study is preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Outside Sales Representative will sell the Harvey and Helical brands to distributors within a defined territory. He/she will be responsible for new business development, as well as distributor management, and will work closely with the internal Inside Sales/Customer Service team to solve application problems. The Outside Sales Representative will be on the road most days traveling to meet with new and current distributors and end users. A typical week may be a 2-3 day trip within the territory and 1-2 days traveling more locally within the same territory.

  • Manage, develop, and grow sales by supporting existing distributor partners through joint sales calls, product training, customer support/analysis, and product recommendations

  • Conduct periodic technical seminars for distributors/end-users for more in-depth brand awareness, application assistance to present a stronger company value proposition.
  • Develop and manage annual sales forecasting and cost budgeting for your territory
  • Understand, develop and exercise Value Selling techniques with all your customers (Distributors and end-users) including proper execution of time/territory management.
  • Provide customer feedback to help our New Product Development (NPD) group develop new products and improve on existing product lines and opportunities
  • Draft, maintain and submit an electronic expense reports to your manager.

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree desired

SR. DATABASE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER


Sr. Database Applications Developer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role is a hands-on Sr. Database Applications Developer who will work with the Director of Information Technology to ensure we provide effective support to our users across all applications and platforms. The Sr. Database Applications Developer will guide support efforts in terms of not only meeting or exceeding service levels and expected completion date metrics but also meeting or exceeding user quality of service expectations. This role requires superb project management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead customizations, roll out of new modules/functionality and or upgrades of all systems
  • Implement standard processes related to development, administration, security and reporting
  • Provide all application, data source creation and reporting support as needs arise
  • Safeguard assets by planning back-up, archiving, retention, purging and restore policies and procedures as well as information security and control structures.
  • Clearly document existing manufacturing and business related processes in both written and visual form (flow charts, diagrams, swim lanes, BRD, BDD, specifications and TDD)

QC INSPECTOR


QC Inspector

Location: Rowley, MA


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The QC Inspector plays a supporting and collaborative role to the many different daily quality control department needs. Candidates will be fully trained on all metrology equipment, and in all Inspection Department processes. While entry level, the QC Inspector position requires an extremely detail oriented candidate who will be asked to give accurate, timely, and meaningful feedback on all processes associated with Harvey Performance’s commitment to quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become proficient in current inspection and quality processes of the Inspection Department.
  • Perform mechanical, physical and visual inspection of tools to ensure conformance to specified requirements.
  • Comprehend tool dimensions and specifications in relation to their associated print and/or specifications sheet.
  • Properly use optical comparator, vision systems, Helicheck and hand-held inspection tools to identify tool dimensions and characteristics.
  • Work with Fulfillment, Receiving and Production staff to ensure the accuracy of routers, packing slips and tooling descriptions.
  • Identify manufacturing failures and accurately document failures through Nonconforming Product Documentation.
  • Become proficient in the inspection of customer RMAs and sample tools.
  • Assist others in data collection and non-conformance reporting.
  • Contribute to initiatives that have a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
  • Cross train with Sales, Fulfillment, and Production to grow knowledge of company product and processes.
