Brian C. Lavelle
Brian Lavelle, Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and growth of Harvey Performance Company.
Lavelle originally joined Harvey in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. He has also held the positions of COO and President before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Harvey Performance. Prior to joining Harvey, Lavelle’s career spanned more than two decades in industrial products and manufacturing companies. Lavelle’s career began in public accounting. Assignments of increasing responsibility at the firm PricewaterhouseCoopers provided extensive experiences and opportunities to build an outstanding set of foundational core skills and business acumen. After PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lavelle held numerous management positions in both pre-revenue startup and high growth, established companies, primarily in private equity held organizations. From an industry perspective, Lavelle has extensive experience in finance, operations, and strategic planning in industrial and manufacturing businesses.
Lavelle has helped to lead the company through multiple acquisitions as well as a successful sale process resulting in our current ownership structure. His responsibilities and impact on the business have extended across the organization in both operational and strategic matters. He has a relaxed, thoughtful leadership style that helps to bring structure and organization to complex cross functional initiatives.
Lavelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Providence College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Peter P. Jenkins
Prior to joining Harvey Performance Company in 2003, a business he would later purchase from its founder in 2007 and serve as Chief Executive Officer of until 2022, Jenkins spent 13 years as a Partner at Andersen Business Consulting. There, he spent his time as a Management Consultant focused on helping industrial products companies improve operations and performance. Immediately before joining Harvey Performance Company, Jenkins served as interim Chief Financial Officer for Berkshire Blanket, where he helped the textiles manufacturer evaluate and transform its cost structure and operations to prepare for future growth and profitability.
Jenkins’ impact on the business since 2003 has been profound and continues to be felt across the organization. In recent years, Jenkins focused his time on building out the company’s organizational capacity and capability to scale rapidly, sustaining an amazingly strong corporate culture, and establishing a leadership team capable of taking the company to the next level and beyond. During his tenure as CEO, Jenkins grew Harvey into a multi-brand conglomerate, overseeing the acquisition of the Helical Solutions, Micro 100, Titan USA, and CoreHog cutting tool brands.
Jenkins holds a master’s degree from University of Hartford’s Andersen Training Program and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Economics from Middlebury College.
Mark W. Dyas
Mark Dyas, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for overseeing the financial direction of Harvey Performance Company.
Prior to joining Harvey Performance Company in 2022 as CFO, Dyas spent more than two decades with best-in-class lean/continuous improvement-oriented industrial products and manufacturing companies. His career began in Audit and Assurance as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte, before joining Emerson, initially in Internal Audit. While at Emerson, Dyas transitioned to corporate and operational finance, as he continued his leadership and learning journey.
In the 20 years since, Dyas has held roles of increasing size and complexity for numerous renowned manufacturing organizations, such as Emerson, Danaher, Fortive, and Dover. During this journey, he built a broad toolbox of financial leadership experience in Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, Operations, Strategic Planning, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Before joining Harvey Performance Company, Dyas served as CFO of OPW, an operating company of Dover Corporation, where he led operational and finance due diligence for two substantial clean energy acquisitions.
Dyas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Missouri.
Garth D. Ely
Garth Ely, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, is responsible for overseeing Harvey Performance Company’s marketing initiatives and strategy as well as pricing and ecommerce across the company’s brands. Ely also leads the company’s Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions strategy and execution activities.
Ely joined Harvey Performance Company in 2015, a few months before the Helical Solutions acquisition, and brought with him extensive experience across diverse U.S. and international operating environments. He spent 18 years in positions of increasing responsibility across sales, marketing, and general management roles at Procter and Gamble before moving to Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company to lead marketing for their North American consumer tire division. Immediately prior to coming on board at Harvey Performance Company, Ely served as the Digital and Marketing Strategy Officer for Avantia, Inc. a boutique custom software shop.
Leveraging the classical brand management training he garnered during his career at P&G, Ely has built a high-functioning marketing and design organization with deep strategic and tactical acumen whose expertise spans digital and strategic growth marketing. He and his team execute a consistent stream of high-impact business-building marketing campaigns powered by a highly integrated and powerful marketing and data analytics technical stack. Ely has played a central role in the identification and successful integration across all of Harvey Performance’s acquisitions, and built a robust and repeatable cross-functional approach to identify and integrate highly strategic acquisition targets.
Ely holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Kansas.
Jerry H. Gleisner
Jerry Gleisner, Senior Vice President of Sales, is responsible for overseeing Harvey Performance Company’s customer facing team inclusive of sales initiatives and strategy, customer service, and technical support.
Prior to beginning his role leading the company’s sales efforts in 2016, Gleisner built an extensive career in sales that began at Sandvik Coromant. There, he held several roles ranging from Service Engineer to Zone Manager. He then spent 9 years as Vice President of Sales for ESAB Welding & Cutting Products where he led the integration of Victor Technologies to ESAB Welding and Cutting Products.
Over the 5+ years that Gleisner has spent at Harvey Performance Company, he has built a world-class sales organization that delivers industry-leading technical support “at the spindle” and best-in-class distributor management. His highly engaged team of technical support and customer service individuals have a genuine passion to exceed customers’ expectations which is a key reason for the category leading brand loyalty the company’s brands enjoy.
Gleisner holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University.
Daniel E. Glusick
Dan Glusick, Senior Vice President of Operations, is responsible for the manufacturing, supply chain, fulfillment, and logistics functions at Harvey Performance Company.
Prior to joining Harvey Performance Company in May of 2022, Glusick served in senior level operations, supply chain, continuous improvement, and product development leadership roles at both publicly held and family-owned companies. Most recently, he worked as Sr Vice President of Global Operations at Tennant Company.
Prior to Tennant, Glusick also worked at The Vollrath Company, Rexnord Corporation, Intermatic Incorporated, and Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Glusick also serves on the Board of Advisors for Alto-Shaam, a US based food service equipment solutions provider.
Throughout his career, Glusick has leveraged a structured approach for developing and deploying strategy, simplifying and visualizing work, aligning employee efforts, engaging teams to solve problems, leveraging best practices, and unifying efforts across functional and geographic boundaries.
Glusick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Greg M. Livelli
Greg Livelli, Senior Vice President of Innovation, is responsible for leading Harvey Performance Company’s Innovation Team and driving its mandate to sustain and accelerate the company’s market-leading innovation strategy. Livelli’s best-in-class Engineering Team leverages highly rigorous research and development processes to advance each brands’ robust product road maps.
Livelli joined Harvey in 2023, following more than 25 years of diverse leadership experience in multinational corporations, spanning research and development, business strategy, and technology commercialization. He has deep expertise orchestrating and evangelizing portfolio management to guide a sophisticated and nuanced product life cycle development process, which transcends discovery, design and manufacturing, sales, service, and, when relevant, eventual retirement.
Prior to joining Harvey, Livelli was the Chief Product Officer for Nidec’s Appliance, Commercial, and Industrial motors platforms where he led its Global Product Team’s strategy, vision, and digital transformation efforts. His leadership established cutting-edge research and rapid innovation, which connected Nidec with their customers in entirely new ways. Prior to Nidec, Livelli was Head of Marketing and Engineering at Hussmann, where he spearheaded growth, infusing a new agile culture in the development and execution of corporate, product, technology, and operational strategies. Additionally, he spent 15 years with ABB in various senior leadership positions, focused on breakthrough ideation and incubation to drive growth initiatives, product portfolio management, and high value aftermarket strategies.
Leveraging his experience in thought leadership, influence, and direct engagement, Livelli is advancing the company’s innovation capacity and capabilities, merging technology with keen business acumen. His approach focuses on comprehensive implementation of initiatives and accelerating Harvey Performance Company’s innovation capability to increase productivity for our customers.
Livelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Regis University.
Brian E. McKahan
Brian McKahan, Vice President of Engineering and Technology, is responsible for the organization’s overall manufacturing technology and providing leadership to ensure Harvey Performance Company continues to be at the forefront of the industry.
McKahan was promoted to this role in 2022 and started with the Harvey team in 2015. In his prior position as Vice President of Operations, McKahan oversaw the supplier management and quality assurance functions, as well as location responsibility for Meridian, ID manufacturing. Prior to joining Harvey Performance in 2015, McKahan had a very successful 30 year career in the cutting tool industry holding a diverse set of high impact manufacturing roles: Plant Manager for Cutting Edge Technologies, a cutting tool and dental device manufacturer; Applications Engineer for Rollomatic, a Switzerland based machine tool manufacturer; and as an entrepreneur and owner of TTI, an ISO certified cutting tool and medical device manufacturer that he built from the ground up. McKahan brings an extensive background in cutting tool manufacturing, design, and technology.
In his time at Harvey Performance Company, McKahan has played a pivotal role in the integration and modernization of the Gorham, ME and Meridian, ID manufacturing operations. He has established robust process, training, and technology securing the plants’ ability to scale and support growth. McKahan’s deep knowledge of the capabilities of each plant, coupled with his extensive history in the industry, have enabled him to play a key role in bringing continuity to new product development and innovation across our manufacturing locations. As Brian looks to the future, he will be the leader who will ensure we are adopting and implementing the right technology to advance the organization in the right way.
McKahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NHTI/Lebanon College as part of the SBB/Timken Aerospace Engineering Program.
Elizabeth A. Moody
Elizabeth Moody, Vice President of Human Resources, is responsible for the development of strategic people-related initiatives, including organizational design, employee development, acquisition integration, and corporate culture. In addition, she oversees the recruitment function and all traditional human resource processes and activities.
Moody began her Human Resources career at Fidelity Investments in corporate and line HR roles. Since then, she has spent over 15 years building extensive expertise working across a series of experiences primarily in engineering, manufacturing, and industrial companies. Prior to Harvey Performance Company, she was Head of Human Resources at United Pipe & Steel Corporation after a very successful stint leading HR for Kortec, Inc. Moody has significant experience working in acquisitive and high-growth organizations.
Over the past 5 years at Harvey Performance Company, Moody has established a best-in-class HR function supported by sophisticated systems and process unmatched in companies commensurate to Harvey Performance’s size. Her leadership significantly enhances the organization’s ability to sustain a rapidly growing and increasingly complex company.
Moody earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Worcester State University as well as a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Northeastern University. She is an active member of NEHRA and SHRM.
Michael A. Murray
Michael Murray, Vice President of Information Technology, is responsible for the overall management, planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions at Harvey Performance Company. In addition, he is responsible for analyzing complex business requirements, architecting data and infrastructure solutions, and driving business intelligence initiatives.
Murray brings more than 28 years of experience in information technology. He started his IT career establishing deep experience in data management and architecture before expanding his expertise into the design and implementation of custom software applications for internal and external facing initiatives. Murray’s career has spanned leading organizations in private and publicly held companies where he was able to build deep expertise in all things IT. Prior to Harvey Performance Company, Murray was the Enterprise Applications Manager for Rochester Electronics.
Over the past 4+ years at Harvey Performance Company, Murray has made significant enhancements in the company’s IT capabilities. His leadership has accelerated the company’s ability to scale through his unique capability to integrate strategic vision and business needs to identify high impact technical solutions for the company.
Murray holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
Jeffrey H. Davis
Vice President of Product Design and Research, Harvey Performance Company
Jeff Davis, Vice President of Product Design and Research, joined Harvey Performance Company in 1995 and is its longest-tenured employee. Davis is responsible for building and sustaining the company’s product superiority through brilliant tool design, and is laser focused on addressing our customers’ most difficult challenges.
In his time with Harvey Performance Company, Davis has performed nearly every organizational task, from processing and shipping orders in the company’s early years, to serving as its IT resource. For more than a decade, immediately prior to taking his current role, Davis focused on overseeing and expanding Harvey’s industry-leading product innovation program.
Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
