Peter P. Jenkins
Pete Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and growth of Harvey Performance Company.
Prior to joining Harvey Tool in 2003, a business he would later purchase from its founder in 2007, Jenkins spent 13 years as a Partner at Andersen Business Consulting. There, he spent his time as a Management Consultant focused on helping industrial products companies improve operations and performance. Immediately before joining Harvey Tool, Jenkins served as interim Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Berkshire Blanket.
Jenkins holds a Masters of Science from University of Hartford as part of the Andersen Training Program and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Economics from Middlebury College in Vermont.
Jeffrey H. Davis
Jeff Davis, Vice President of Engineering, joined Harvey Tool in 1995 and is its longest tenured employee. He is responsible for overseeing Harvey Performance Company’s engineering infrastructure, which includes technical support, inspection, quality assurance, and new product development.
Davis’ passion for engineering was inherited from his father, Richard, a decades-long engineer at General Electric; and grandfather, Darle W. Dudley, an award-winning mechanical engineer who authored the Handbook of Practical Gear Design.
In his time with Harvey Tool, Davis has performed nearly every organizational task, from processing and shipping orders in the company’s early years, to providing technical support to customers. For more than a decade, he has served his current role overseeing and expanding Harvey Tool’s product offering.
Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Garth D. Ely
Garth Ely, Vice President of Marketing, is responsible for overseeing Harvey Performance Company’s marketing initiatives and strategy, from print marketing and direct mail to digital marketing and social media.
Ely joined Harvey Tool in 2015, a few months before the Helical Solutions acquisition, and brought with him extensive experience across diverse U.S. and International operating environments. He spent 18 years across various sales, marketing, and general management roles at Procter and Gamble before moving to Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company to head up marketing for their North American consumer tire division. Immediately prior to coming on board at Harvey Tool, Ely served as the Digital and Marketing Strategy Officer for Avantia, Inc.
Ely holds a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Jerry H. Gleisner
Jerry Gleisner, Senior Vice President of Sales, is responsible for overseeing Harvey Performance Company’s sales initiatives and strategy.
Prior to beginning his role leading Harvey Tool and Helical Solutions’ sales efforts in 2016, Gleisner spent 5 years in a variety of manufacturing roles including quality assurance, process engineering, materials planning and manufacturing engineering. He then built an extensive 13 year career encompassing technical sales, value selling and sales and distribution management at Sandvik Coromant, the largest manufacturer of cutting tools in the world. Prior to coming on board at Harvey Performance Company, Gleisner spent 8 years as Vice President of Sales for ESAB Welding and Cutting Products, where he was a key contributor in the commercial integration of a large acquisition.
Mr. Gleisner holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
Brian C. Lavelle
Brian Lavelle, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all aspects of Harvey Performance Company’s accounting, finance and treasury functions. In addition, he also oversees its human resources and information technology departments.
Lavelle joined Harvey Tool Company in 2015 to support its high growth and acquisitions plans, which included the acquisition of Helical Solutions. He brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, working for leading manufacturing corporations, beginning as Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He has extensive experience in acquisitions, system implementation, risk management, and in implementing process and controls in rapid-growth environments. Most recently, prior to joining Harvey Performance Company, Lavelle worked as Chief Financial Officer in both manufacturing and distribution businesses, Kortec Inc. and United Pipe and Steel Corp.
Lavelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College, and is registered by the State of Massachusetts as a Certified Public Accountant.
