Harvey Performance Company, LLC Website Privacy Notice

Effective Date: 7 September 2018

Harvey Performance Company, LLC (“we” or “us” or “Harvey”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to our website http://www.harveyperformance.com/ (the “Site”) and how we use and disclose that information. This Notice does not apply to other data, including data collected offline.  We do not share your personal information with those websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Once you have left our Site, you should check the applicable privacy Notice of the third-party website to determine how they will handle any information they collect from you.

Please take time to read this site’s Terms of Use.

By visiting and using the Site, you are deemed to have agreed to the provisions of this Privacy Notice, unless you are in the EEA or Switzerland in which case you are acknowledging that you have been provided this Privacy Notice.

Information You Provide to Us

When you request a resource, subscribe to our newsletter or submit a “Contact Us” communication to us through the Site, we may request you provide your name, employer information, email address, phone number and address so we understand more about you and can communicate with you about the services and resources you have requested.

If you apply for employment with Harvey through our Site, we require you to provide your name, email address and phone number along with a copy of your resume.

If you leave comments or replies to comments on our blog, you are required to provide your name, your email address and, optionally, your website URL. We require this personal data in order to ensure that you are a real person and to avoid spam.

You can also use certain features of our Site without telling us your name and if you do not tell us who you are, we do not try to find out.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information Collected Automatically

We keep track of certain non-identifiable information about you when you visit and interact with our Site.  For example, we collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit, such as your IP address, device used to access the Site, browser type, and language, access times and referring website addresses. We may also use website analytic tools on our Site that retrieve information from your browser such as your visiting frequency, features you use, the search terms you enter, the links you click on, the content you down download, and how you interact with the Site.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address as well as information about the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on our Site. “Cookies” are small text files that are placed on your hard disk by a webpage server that allow us to recognize your browser or mobile device and tell us how and when pages and features on our website are visited and by how many people. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or mobile device to prevent or limit your computer or device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may limit you from taking advantage of some of our features. You can find out how to do so here: www.aboutcookies.org.  When we collect usage information (such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to the Site), we only use this data in an aggregate form, and not in a manner that would identify you personally directly or indirectly.  If you have a Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google+ account, those services may be able to identify that you are on our Site through the widgets we maintain for each in the header and or footer of most of our Site pages. This occurs from the cookies that each service places when you use their service.

Google Analytics and Pardot: We also use third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Pardot in order to track your activity on our website. The information we collect through these third-party services includes your IP address, your device type and Operating System, your Internet browser, your location, the pages on our website you have visited, the actions you’ve performed on these pages. We use such information to better understand your needs and improve our platform accordingly, and also to send you marketing messages that are relevant and match your interests. You can prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics on websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on here.

For information on how our advertising partners allow you to opt out of receiving ads based on your web browsing history, please visit http://optout.aboutads.info/.

To opt out of ads on Facebook or Google that are targeted to your interests, use your Facebook or Google Ads settings.

Check your mobile device for settings that control ads based on your interactions with the applications on your device. For example, on your iOS device, enable the “Limit Ad Tracking” setting, and on your Android device, enable the “Opt out of Ads Personalization” setting.

Please note: Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track our users over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising. However, we believe that you should have a choice regarding interest-based ads served by our partners, which is why we outline the options available to you above.

Additionally, we may use a plugin called Survicate, which uses cookies to track whether or not you have seen and/or answered a survey pop-up on our Site previously. Disabling cookies in your browser will block the Survicate cookie as well, though this may cause you to see the same ad or survey every time you visit a relevant page on the Site.

Please be aware that the e-mail address you provide and any other information you enter while using this site may render you personally identifiable, and may possibly be displayed on this web site intentionally (depending on choices you make during the registration process, or depending on the way in which the site is configured) or unintentionally (subsequent to a successful act of intrusion by a third party). As on many web sites, the site editor may also automatically receive general information that is contained in server log files, such as your IP address, and anonymous cookie information.
